Destiny 2 players were getting ready to enjoy a major new free update on March 3. It’s called Shadow and Order and was supposed to close the second half of the Year of the Prophecy. Challenges, activities, weapons, and other progression items will be included.
Unfortunately, it seems that a delay may soon be announced. According to Forbes journalist Paul Tassi, Bungie has decided to postpone the update to make room for Marathon, which is set to be released on March 5, 2026. The company has not yet announced a new release date.
Of course, Bungie has still to confirm any of this.
