In addition to rumors about Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, insider Tom Henderson has also discussed Ubisoft’s upcoming projects in his latest podcast. While there are some encouraging news, others are more concerning.

Let’s start with the bad news. Long rumored, the Splinter Cell remake has reportedly been delayed yet again. The project isn’t expected to be released before 2027. Following the Black Flag remake, Ubisoft’s next major title is said to be the latest installment in the Ghost Recon series. Add to that the fact that Far Cry 7 is reportedly facing major development troubles.

Absolutely, it’s fascinating to see how these franchises evolve over time. Delays can sometimes lead to better quality in the end, but it’s definitely a mixed bag for fans. I’m also curious about how the developments in Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced might influence the future of open-world games.

to better quality in the end, as developers have more time to refine their vision. It’s interesting to think about how fan expectations also shape these remakes and sequels. The pressure to deliver something that resonates with both new players and long-time fans can be quite a balancing act.

I completely agree! Taking extra time can definitely lead to a more polished final product. It’s also worth noting that delays can sometimes allow developers to incorporate fan feedback, which can enhance the overall experience even more.
