Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced has reportedly impressed the press

We’ve entered the home stretch before getting the chance to see the first images of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced. Once again, we can count on insider Tom Henderson to reveal new details.

First off, the gaming press had the chance to attend a presentation of the game this week. The media in attendance were reportedly impressed by the 30-minute demo. The embargo on this preview will likely be lifted on April 23, which would coincide with Ubisoft’s big reveal of the title.

Furthermore, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced is reportedly a true remake, not a remaster. Henderson mentioned several new features, such as having a pet on your ship (a cat or a monkey) and a completely revamped underwater exploration system.

In terms of new content, we’ll get to see brand-new officers and crew members. There will also be quests and entire chapters that weren’t included in the 2013 game.

The title is reportedly running on the latest graphics engine used in modern Assassin’s Creed games. Finally, the remake is expected to be sold at full price and is slated for release on July 9, 2026, on current-generation consoles.
