Several PS4, PS3 games have been delisted from the PS Store without a warning, with a beloved Marvel game among them. Two games from the popular Puzzle Quest series, including Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign, have been delisted, and more are expected to follow.

Folks over at Delisted Games reported that four Puzzle Quest games mysteriously went missing from both the PlayStation and Xbox stores. However, we found that most of the delistings happened on the Xbox store, and only two Puzzle Quest games — Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign and PS3’s Puzzle Quest Galactrix left the PS Store.

However, this doesn’t mean that the third title, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, won’t end up leaving the PS Store as well. The game is still available to purchase for $9.99 at the time of writing.

The fourth title that was delisted from the Xbox Store is Puzzle Quest 2, which never released on PlayStation.

Then, there’s the curious case of Galaxy of Pen & Paper +1 Edition and Outbreak: Hearts of Gold Collection, which have been removed from the Xbox Store but are still up on the PS Store at the time of this writing. However, X-Force Genesis (PS5, PS4) has been delisted from both stores.

Meanwhile, X-Force Under Attack remains on the PS Store but has been removed from the Xbox Store.

You’re right; it’s becoming quite common for games to be removed unexpectedly. It’s disappointing, especially for fans who may not have had a chance to purchase them. This trend highlights the importance of game preservation and the need for better communication from developers and platforms.
