Marvel’s Venom: confusion reigns over the game’s existence

When Insomniac Games leaks were published in 2023, a Marvel’s Venom project appeared in the documents. Originally slated for 2025, the studio has never publicly mentioned this title.

Today, there has been a new development regarding this mysterious game centered on the famous symbiote. Nadji Jeter, the actor who plays Miles Morales in Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man games, stated during an interview that Marvel’s Venom has been canceled. The decision was reportedly made following the death of Tony Todd, who provided the voice of Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

However, the story isn’t entirely over yet, as journalist Jason Schreier weighed in with his own statement. On ResetEra, he simply said that none of this « is true ». Marvel’s Venom could still be in development and release after Marvel’s Wolverine. The latter is set to arrive on September 15, 2026, on PS5.
