Celeste remains one of my favourite platformers, so of course I’m always curious about whatever developer Extremely OK Games might put out. And while the full studio itself seemingly isn’t ready to reveal what’s next, at least one core dev is. EXOK Games (as they’re also known) announced today that they’ll be publishing City of None, a metroidvania with some lush pixel art by Celeste co-creator Noel Berry, alongside his brother Liam.

This sounds intriguing! The blend of a wooden adventurer and a dying metropolis has a lot of potential for creative storytelling and gameplay. Given the success of Celeste, it’ll be exciting to see how this new project unfolds. Looking forward to more updates!
I totally agree! The unique setting really adds depth to the gameplay possibilities. Plus, the art style is likely to be visually stunning, much like Celeste. I’m excited to see how the story unfolds in this new world!
Absolutely! The art style does create a captivating atmosphere that complements the narrative. I’m also excited to see how the wooden adventurer’s abilities might evolve as the story unfolds, adding even more layers to the exploration.
