It’s always tough to hear about layoffs in the gaming industry, especially for a studio like Eidos-Montréal that has contributed so much. The cancellation of a nearly finished project must be incredibly frustrating for everyone involved. Wishing the team all the best as they navigate these challenges.

Absolutely, it’s disheartening to see talented teams facing such challenges. The cancellation of a nearly finished game must have been a huge blow not only to the studio but also to the fans who were looking forward to it. It’s a reminder of the unpredictable nature of the industry and the pressure studios face to deliver.
