While Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced is expected to largely satisfy fans of the series this July, other titles leave one skeptical, to say the least. This is the case, for example, with Assassin’s Creed Invictus, a PvP multiplayer title similar to Fall Guys.
According to rumors circulating in January, the developers of Invictus were not exactly enthusiastic. Now, insider j0nathan offers a far more alarming assessment of the project’s actual quality.
A disastrous playtest reportedly took place for Invictus on April 30. According to the rather colorful language of the person involved, the game is « absolutely terrible ». Worse still, the release scheduled for the end of the year could be delayed. The user even mentions a possible cancellation, given how catastrophic the feedback was.
Finally, j0nathan attached a copy of the invitation email for the playtest. To play, participants needed a Windows 11 computer with at least 16 GB of RAM and an i5-14600K processor. The session was playable only with a controller.
