While we talk a lot about The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2, another very promising game is in development at CD Projekt RED. It’s called “Project Sirius,” a multiplayer spin-off of the The Witcher saga.
To strengthen the team behind this project, the Polish studio has hired Kwan Perng as lead writer. During his career, he spent over two and a half years at Bungie as narrative director on Destiny 2: The Final Form.
“I’ve joined CD Projekt RED as lead writer on Project Sirius. It will be a while before I can talk about the project, but in the meantime, I’ve immersed myself in the dark and eclectic universe of The Witcher. It’s incredible to have the opportunity to tell stories in this world alongside such talented developers.”
Project Sirius is being developed by the company’s Seattle-based studio. As of late February, 71 people were working on the game.
