Amazon Luna is changing direction to focus on party games

Amazon’s cloud gaming platform is set for a radical overhaul! Available since 2022, Luna is a streaming service that offered a fairly large number of games. This week, the American company announced a complete overhaul.

While the blockbusters we all know and love won’t be going anywhere, Amazon will be introducing a new feature called GameNight. Amazon Prime subscribers will be able to join a game by scanning a QR code with their phone. They will then have access to family-friendly titles that offer maximum laughter and fun together.

These will include games developed directly by the brand, including Courtoom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg. This is a game of “human-created, AI-powered courtroom improvisation” where players will have to come up with characters and stories and defend their testimonies before a judge played by Snoop Dogg.

In total, more than 25 multiplayer games will be included in GameNight at launch. Other AAA titles such as Hogwarts Legacy, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and TopSpin 2K 25 are also available on Luna.
