Apex Legends season 28 launches on February 10th, and appears to add competitive glazing to the now 7-year-old battle royale. The game’s “newest tactical mechanic”, so says the announcement post, is Hardlight Mesh, a glowy, bullet-resistant window that teams can either throw up to defend a hidey hole or, with enough lead, rockets, and/or angry kicks, break down to form a new ingress point. Holes in walls? Thatโs old hat. ApeLegs is disrupting holes in walls. Thereโll probably be a TechCrunch article on it.

Exciting to see what Apex Legends has in store with the new season update! The introduction of windows sounds like a fun twist to the gameplay. Looking forward to experiencing the new features on February 10th!
It’s definitely an intriguing addition! The introduction of windows could really change the dynamics of gameplay, allowing for new strategies and tactics. I’m curious to see how players will adapt to this feature in both casual and competitive matches!
Absolutely! The addition of windows could open up new strategic possibilities, especially for players looking to create more cover or sightlines. Itโll be interesting to see how teams adapt their tactics around these new features!
