Valve is expected to offer four different configurations for its Steam Machine

Following the chaotic launch of the Steam Controller on May 4, Valve decided to implement a pre-order system (https://news.instant-gaming.com/en/articles/19435-steam-controller-valve-announces-the-launch-of-a-pre-order-system-on-may-8). The goal is to combat resellers and make it easier for customers to order their controllers.

This system will likely be used again for the release of the Steam Machine. That’s what users of Steam Tracker have discovered. Additionally, users have also spotted references to four different bundles.

For now, the Steam Machine has only been announced in 512 GB and 2 TB versions. As for the other two offerings, we can imagine that Valve might sell its device with a Steam Controller included in the same bundle. It’s also not impossible that a 1 TB configuration could be released to offer a middle ground for buyers who aren’t satisfied with 512 GB of storage but don’t have the budget for the 2 TB model.

All of this, of course, still needs to be confirmed by Valve.
