On X, user j0nathan (who is generally reliable when it comes to the series) revealed a change in the content of Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe. Indeed, when Jean Guesdon was appointed content director for the series in February, he reportedly removed the supernatural elements from Hexe. For example, players would have been able to play as a cat.

This creative shift may have been the reason behind Benoit Richer’s departure.

Benoit Richer, who was the game director of Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, joined Servo Games this month. He had been working at Ubisoft Montreal since March 2017. We do not know who will replace him.
