We are just a few hours away from the in-depth presentation of Gears of War: E-Day. It will take place right after the Xbox Games Showcase, which is set for this Sunday at 6 p.m. BST / 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT
Ahead of this major event, we just got a rumor regarding The Coalition’s game. According to insider Jeff Grubb, the PS5 version of Gears of War: E-Day has reportedly been canceled by Microsoft. The decision is said to have been made very recently.
Since her appointment as CEO of XBOX, Asha Sharma has stated that she is considering the future of exclusives on the platform. As a result, the next Gears of War could very well be exclusive to Xbox consoles (in addition to releasing on PC).
