Ubisoft has closed its studio in Winnipeg and laid off dozens of employees

Weโ€™ve just received some bad news from Ubisoft. The publisher has decided to close another of its studios, following the one in Halifax last January.

Sadly, Ubisoft Winnipeg (based in Canada) is now a thing of the past. Approximately 85 employees are expected to lose their jobs as a result of this decision. Several projects within the company are also reportedly affected.

The now-closed studio had provided support for titles such as Rainbow Six Siege, XDefiant, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Far Cry 6.
