Last month the European Commission promised that they would provide a response to the Stop Killing Games campaign that seeks to gain more protections around online game server shutdowns into law. That reply has now come in and, essentially, it’s not the result Stop Killing Games were after.
It’s great to see ongoing efforts around the Stop Killing Games campaign, even if the European Commission won’t be legislating on it. Advocacy and awareness are so important, and it’s encouraging to know that the organizers are still committed to the cause. Looking forward to seeing how this develops!
