Two New Gen Anime Have Officially Surpassed One Piece

One Piece is an absolute mammoth of a series. Its anime has been airing consistently since 1999, despite a few breaks and hiatuses. This is over 25 years of content, and fans are still excited for every new episode each week. Keeping fans entertained for this long is definitely not easy. Sadly, however, One Piece isn’t generating impressive numbers on Netflix. Its most recent arc, the Egghead arc, has only generated 5.6 million views with its first half, and 2.6 million with its second, which began early this year. Meanwhile, Sakamoto Days and Demon Slayer are dominating. Sakamoto Days has 24.4 million, and Demon Slayer has amassed 19.4 million views. This might make it seem like One Piece is outclassed, but it all comes down to One Piece being the most pirated anime ever.
