The Virtual Boy emulator for Switch and Switch 2 doesn’t work when docked

The Nintendo Switch Online exclusive Virtual Boy emulator has a little surprise in store for its release this Tuesday, February 17. Users who have already received the accessory have made an observation.

It is simply impossible to play titles from the Virtual Boy catalog if the Switch or Switch 2 is placed in its dock. A message appears on the screen asking you to remove the device from its docking station. This seems logical, since Nintendo requires the use of the Virtual Boy accessory, priced at $79.99, or its cardboard version, priced at $19.99, in order to play.

Finally, it is also not possible to play the games at all without using one of these devices.
