Under pressure from its investors and market conditions, Nintendo has decided to raise its prices. While these price hikes primarily affect Japan, the Switch 2 will become more expensive worldwide.
Thus, starting September 1, 2026, the Switch 2 will increase from €469.99 / $449.99 to €499.99 / $499.99 in Europe and the United States, respectively. In Japan, the manufacturer has even decided to raise prices across its entire lineup.
Within the country, the Switch 2, the Switch OLED, Lite, and standard models, as well as Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions, are now more expensive.
