If originally scheduled for March 2027, the feature film The Legend of Zelda was ultimately delayed to May of that same year. However, Nintendo has once again announced a change in the release date.
On X, the Japanese company shared a message from Miyamoto himself. He stated that the film’s global release will take place on April 30, 2027, instead of May 7, 2027. No reason was given for this change.
The Japanese creator simply noted that “the team is working hard to deliver the film to everyone as soon as possible”, so that the live-action adaptation can come out a week earlier.
