The difficulty of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will be adjusted

Crystal Dynamics, the devs behind the upcoming game Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, have revealed that the difficulty will be adjusted to “suit modern players’ tastes”. Announced at The Game Awards 2025, this is a complete remake of the original game, which is eagerly awaited by the community.

During a presentation at which [GamesRadar+](https://www.gamesradar.com/games/tomb-raider/tomb-raider-legacy-of-atlantis-leads-say-its-essential-to-adjust-the-ps1 -originals-difficulty-for-modern-player-tastes-but-things-that-you-expect-in-a-tomb-raider-game-are-going-to-be-there/) was present, the development studio was asked about the difficulty of their future title, particularly due to the instant death situations and other problems encountered by players in the original episode. Will Kersake, game director at Crystal Dynamics, said: “Part of properly reinventing a game is adapting it to the tastes of modern players.”

We can therefore expect something much more accessible than the original.
