Something for the Weekend – 13/09/25

It’s heckin’ windy and rainy out and about, so it’s a good weekend to have a cosy time inside playing nice and lovely video games. Definitely nothing spooky and horror-filled – it’s not October yet. Personally, I’ll be continuing with Everybody’s Golf, maybe the Donkey Kong DLC and I need to get back to Indiana Jones’ DLC as well.

In the News This Week

The Nintendo Direct for Mario’s 40th had a good few announcement and surprises for us.

Games in Review & Featured Articles

We didn’t get Borderlands 4 code ahead of that game’s release, so put our focus elsewhere for this week’s reviews:

Dom also turned in a hardware review for the Noble Fokus Amadeus true wireless earbuds.

I then delivered a batch of previews, going hands on with Little Nightmares 3, and speaking to Producer Coralie Feniello about the shift to co-op and more. As well as this, I had an extended hands on time with Digimon Story: Time Stranger, and got to see SponeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide in action.

Rounding out the week, What We Played featured Everybody’s Golf, Metal Gear Solid Delta & Lost Soul Aside.

Resident Evil Requiem coming to Switch 2, along with Resident Evil Biohazard and Village

Destiny 2’s Star Wars inspired Renegades expansion launches December 2nd

Pokémon Pokopia feels a bit Animal Crossing & Stardew-y

That’s the round up for this week, stay out of the stormy weather this weekend, and we’ll catch you back here on Monday!
