Steam is a massive platform for indie games. It’s not the only one out there for fans of smaller titles, but it’s one way for tiny studios to get their games noticed by a greater audience. Unfortunately, because of the sheer abundance of games released almost on a daily basis, it’s not uncommon for some true indie gems to get buried in the algorithm or simply never get the traction they deserve. It usually takes a streamer or some social media hype to get them on anyone’s radar.
