PS5 players can now try a unique upcoming action game for free, which has already garnered a positive response. Mashina is a chill “digging adventure” that’s already out on PC, where it earned great reviews. The game will release on PS5 soon, but its demo is out now on the PS Store.

Mashina is a single-player game, so you don’t need PS Plus to try the demo. Early response is already positive, with a current rating of 4.67/5 stars on the PS Store.
“You play as Mashina, a friendly mining robot tasked with finding minerals to help mend, build, and nurture her quirky robot community,” an official overview reads. “The Gameplay in Mashina is divided into two distinct sections: a deep, mysterious underground full of trinkets and minerals, and a vibrant, fully explorable 3D Overground.”
Players will be excavating rare minerals, gems, and treasures.

Mashina will launch on the PS5 on May 29. Its PS Store listing doesn’t mention if demo progress will carry over to the full game. Additionally, its price has yet to be confirmed.
On Steam, Mashina boasts a “Very Positive” rating.
