The Pokémon Company will open the first permanent theme park based on the franchise next year. PokéPark Kanto will be located in an area of the Yomiuriland amusement park in Tokyo.
Contrary to what was planned, this venue will open its doors several months ahead of schedule, as the public will be able to visit it from February 5, 2026. Visitors will be able to explore the Pokémon Forest, which will be filled with statues of creatures seen in different generations, as well as some reconstructions of Pokémon’s natural habitats will also be on display.
Finally, the second section is Geon Village. Here, visitors will find shops, performance venues, and other attractions. Of course, there will be exclusive merchandise available for purchase.

This is exciting news for Pokémon fans! A theme park dedicated to the franchise sounds like a fantastic idea. It will be great to see how they bring the world of Pokémon to life. Looking forward to the opening!
