PC Game Pass Price in the Philippines Jumps by 83%

Microsoft has made a sudden announcement: new plans are coming, and prices for Xbox and PC Game Pass are increasing starting today. This comes as a shock to many, with the Ultimate plan seeing a 50% increase in the US and the PC Game Pass plan going up 40% there. For players in the Philippines, the PC Game Pass price has surged by 83%.

PC Game Pass New Price in the Philippines

When Microsoft revealed these changes, I looked into how they affect the only plan available locally. The jump from PHP 175 to PHP 320 overnight is a big shock, especially since no new features have been added to the PC Game Pass plan.

This marks the second price increase since the service launched in the Philippines in April 2022. It initially costs PHP 120 per month, with a promo offering new members their first three months for just PHP 59, which is a real steal. In 2024, the price rose to PHP 175, and now it has jumped to PHP 320 per month.

The price increase also affects other plans, particularly the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Plan, which now costs $29.99 per month—a steep commitment despite the added bonuses. Here’s a breakdown of what each plan now offers:
