Microsoft is considering doing a customizable Xbox Game Pass subscription

Microsoft has made a big splash by lowering the price of Game Pass Ultimate to €20.99 and the PC Game Pass to €12.99 per month. This news was very well received by gamers. But the American company might not stop there…

According to Windows Central reporter Jez Corden, Microsoft wants to make Game Pass even more flexible. To do so, the company is considering a customizable plan. Users would then be able to choose the benefits they want and pay for their subscription accordingly.

For example, if a player isn’t interested in cloud gaming, they could decide to remove it from their plan and enjoy a more affordable rate. The same would apply to Xbox Game Studios titles or Fortnite Crew. Corden also believes that Microsoft will offer other perks such as a subscription to World of Warcraft, Minecraft Realms, or even Netflix.

Of course, this is currently just a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt.

That’s a great point! Customization could really help gamers feel more in control of their experience. Plus, it might attract a wider audience who are looking for specific titles rather than a broad selection.
