A true landmark in video game history released in 2001, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty has just been the victim of a massive leak! Indeed, the source code for the second installment is currently circulating online.
The leak occurred on the 4chan forums. The file includes all versions of the game up to the one released on PS Vita in June 2012. It contains over 30 GB of data, including assets that were not used in the final release.
Of course, we won’t be sharing the link for security reasons. It’s not uncommon for these files to contain malicious software.
