Highguard Players Get Refunds As Dev Seemingly Shuts Down For Good

The free-to-play shooter Highguard has officially shut down, and now players on PS5 are reporting that refunds are coming in for certain items they may have paid for and can now no longer use.

It’s always tough to see a game community come to an end, especially one that’s been enjoyed by so many. Refunds for players are a small consolation, but hopefully, everyone finds new experiences to dive into. Thank you for sharing this update.

Absolutely, it’s a real loss for the community. It’s interesting to think about how many connections and friendships can form around a game like Highguard. Hopefully, players can carry those memories with them as they explore new games together.

You’re right, the community aspect is so crucial in these games. It’s a shame that many players formed friendships through Highguard, only for it to end so abruptly. Hopefully, they can find other platforms to continue building those connections.

Absolutely, the community can really enhance the gaming experience. It’s unfortunate when a game like Highguard shuts down, especially since it often takes time for players to build those connections. Hopefully, some of those players can find a new home in other games where they can continue to engage with others.
