It turns out that Gears of War: E-Day is coming out a bit sooner than we expected. Even more notably, it’s going to be an Xbox console exclusive. While it’s set to get a dedicated Direct following the Xbox Games Showcase, Gears of War: E-Day still showed up to kick off the showcase proper with a spiffy extended gameplay segment. At the end of it, The Coalition and Xbox Games Studios confirm that it will launch before the end of 2026, on October 6 specifically.
