It’s already almost certain that Final Fantasy VII Revelation will feature DLC. Unlike the second entry of the trilogy, this final chapter will keep us entertained for the long haul. Remember that it is scheduled for release on PS5, XBOX Series, Switch 2, and PC in spring 2027.
In fact, a narrative expansion pass has been spotted in an entry in the Epic Games Store database. A total of nine downloadable content packs are listed there. Some of these DLCs may be dedicated solely to character outfits or in-game items. However, at least one is expected to extend the RPG’s story.
Square Enix has not confirmed anything at this time.
