While we wait for news about Dragon Quest XII, its predecessor might soon be making a comeback with a new version. Released in 2019 on the Switch, the JRPG appears to be heading for Nintendo’s latest console.
On the ResetEra forums, a user noticed that DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age was recently rated for Switch 2 by the Taiwanese rating board. We should therefore soon see this release confirmed by Square Enix.
