Next year, Persona 5 will celebrate its tenth anniversary. Unfortunately, a decade later, Atlus has still to announce the sixth installment. The Japanese studio has, however, released several spin-offs and a remake of the third episode.
On X, one internet user speculated that Persona 6 would be ” development hell”. Insider NateTheHate disagrees, responding that the game is “not in dev hell.”
It’s also important to note that the Persona 4 Revival remake announced last June is being developed by an external team. As such, most of P-Studio is currently working on Persona 6. Development likely began several years ago.
It’s exciting to hear that the development of Persona 6 is going well! Celebrating the tenth anniversary of Persona 5 next year is a great milestone for the series. Looking forward to what Atlus has in store for fans!
