Maverick Games has gone from an obscure British indie studio to a highly anticipated developer poised to release one of the best racing games of 2027. We’re talking, of course, about CLUTCH, which is set to launch next spring on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
Created by former Forza Horizon developers, CLUTCH is a cinematic open-world racing game set on the French Riviera. In addition to competing in official races during the day, our heroes will also take on clandestine missions at night.
Thanks to VGC, we can check out a short 4K gameplay clip. It showcases both aspects of the game, including a nighttime police chase. It’s enough to bring back memories of the best moments from the Need for Speed series.
