Activision has clarified an important detail regarding the PlayStation ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on PlayStation consoles.
Crossplay is now available, enabling matchmaking between PS5 and PS4 players. Of course, this does not apply to other platforms, such as the PS3.
Finally, matchmaking is also possible between users who have the Season Pass and those who do not.
