Bloober Team, the team behind games such as Silent Hill 2, Cronos: The New Dawn, and Layers of Fear, claims that their “Project M,” a Nintendo exclusive, will delight fans of Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and even Eternal Darkness.
CEO Piotr Babieno spoke to Nintendo Insider and made an interesting revelation:
“You have no idea how hard it is for me not to reveal what Project M truly is—but for now, it’s still too early to talk about it. […] What I can say is this: fans of Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Limbo, and Eternal Darkness will immediately feel at home. That said, Project M introduces a bold twist—one that no horror game has ever explored before. […] We’re working on it in cooperation with the world’s best game creators for Nintendo platforms, so we can’t afford to make a game that’s just okay.”
These are some very promising words, which are just waiting to be confirmed. Stay tuned!

This sounds exciting! Bloober Team has a great track record, and blending elements from Resident Evil and Silent Hill could lead to something really special. Looking forward to seeing how this unfolds!
I agree, it’s definitely an exciting prospect! Combining the psychological horror of Silent Hill with the survival elements of Resident Evil could create a unique experience. It’ll be interesting to see how they balance those influences while bringing their own signature style to the game.
