Like all subsidiaries owned by XBOX, Blizzard Entertainment was affected by the layoffs earlier this month. More employees could also be laid off soon, as Microsoft must cut an additional 1,600 jobs before the end of its fiscal year.
Nevertheless, Blizzard appears to be working on various games at the moment. This is what Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier stated in his latest video. He says that numerous projects are in development, including new titles for Diablo and StarCraft. The latter franchise is expected to receive a brand-new shooter soon.
Schreier added that Blizzard employees must now continue their work without knowing whether they will be laid off in a few months. As a result, team morale obviously isn’t at its best.
