A group of Baldur’s Gate 3 modders taking on the task of remaking the original Baldur’s Gate as a custom campaign have shown off one of the first major milestones since their ambitious quest kicked off in earnest. They’ve gone back and revamped Candlekeep, the library-fortress that served as the location of an inital demo published last year.

It’s exciting to see modders putting their creativity into remaking such a classic! The revamped Candlekeep sounds like a fantastic way to honor the original while bringing fresh elements to the game. Looking forward to seeing how this project evolves!
dlekeep looks fantastic and really captures the essence of the original. It’s impressive how modders can bring new life to classic locations while staying true to the game’s roots. I wonder what other iconic areas they’ll tackle next!
