Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced may be released on Switch 2 a little later

Nintendo was undoubtedly the big absentee from this week’s presentation of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced. The remake is currently only announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a release date of July 9, 2026.

While the Switch 2 may have to do without this modernized version of the franchise’s fourth installment, there is still hope. After all, insider Nash Weedle claims that the Japanese manufacturer’s hybrid console will receive Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced at a later date.

Ubisoft has yet to say anything on the matter, but such a port wouldn’t be surprising. Assassin’s Creed Shadows was already released in December 2025 on Switch 2.
