Embark Studios has announced quite a big change for the release schedule for ARC Raiders. The Swedish developer outlined its new update schedule this week.
From now on, ARC Raiders will get two major updates per year that will be “larger in scale, more impactful”. Their goal will be to transform the experience in a profound way. Of course, patches dedicated to bug fixes and balancing will still come out frequently.
“This additional development space also allows us to invest more deeply in the health of ARC Raiders, from progression and economy balancing to fair play and anti-cheat efforts. We know these are foundational to the experience, especially in a game where every encounter and extraction matters.”
Next October, the Frozen Trail update will debut. It will introduce a new frontier, an ARC operation, progression systems, an improved skill tree, weapons, items, and much more.
