An Italian TV channel gets DLSS 5 YouTube videos taken down… including NVIDIA’s

The internet never ceases to surprise us! In this case, YouTube took decisive action after an Italian TV channel called La7 used footage from the DLSS 5 trailer in one of its reports. Since the channel’s video is protected by copyright, all other YouTube videos covering the topic on the platform were automatically blocked.

Although the channel doesn’t actually hold any real rights to DLSS 5, a takedown notice for copyright infringement was sent to all YouTube channels featuring the American company’s technology. Even more bizarrely, the announcement video published by NVIDIA was also blocked for the same reasons. It now displays the message: “This video includes content from La7, which has blocked it in your country for copyright reasons.”

Of course, we can assume that NVIDIA will act quickly to resolve the situation. Once again, YouTube’s copyright claim system is at fault here.
