Depending on which version of the Pokemon FireRed & LeafGreenplayers have, they will be able to catch certain species from Gen II (Johto). Both FireRed & LeafGreen versions have a separate Pokedex listing for Johto Pokemon (the National Dex), which isunlocked in the post-game after players defeat the Elite Fourandbecome the League Champions.
