A patent seems to point to DS games coming to Switch 2

Nintendo recently filed a patent that is not difficult to interpret. These documents show several systems designed to run DS games on Switch 2 via an emulator included in Nintendo Switch Online.

The patent in question illustrates three ways to play titles from the handheld console launched in 2004. There will be a dual-screen option, a single screen (picture-in-picture) option, and a mode that allows you to switch from one screen to another at any time.

Of course, since this is a patent, the project may never come to fruition.
