Several Japanese figures have praised Forza Horizon 6 map

In a video game, it’s not always easy to create a believable map when it features real-world locations. The map in Forza Horizon 6 aims to offer a condensed yet realistic portrayal of modern Japan. And Playground Games’ efforts seem to have paid off!

On X, several Japanese gaming personalities have praised the British studioโ€™s efforts. This includes Keiichiro Toyama, the creator of Silent Hill, Gravity Rush, and the Siren franchise who, in a post accompanied by photos, saidd that after going out into the city, he felt “like I was actually in Forza Horizon 6.

Additionally, Yuta Horie, a relatively well-known Japanese architect, said that “the map of Forza Horizon 6 is so Japanese that itโ€™s almost too much.” It “meticulously pieces together fragments of Japan,” giving the impression that youโ€™ve seen these landscapes somewhere before. He commends the teams at Playground Games for their “deep respect” for Japanese culture.
