Sony picked up Suri and Haunt Hunter as part of its PlayStation India Hero Project, which is an incubation program for emerging developers. Sony runs similar programs in other countries, like China, which has already spawned several PS5 games.
Suri and Haunt Hunter will also launch on PC, but will remain console exclusive to PS5 for now.
Suri is in an adventure game with music/rhythm elements. โPlay as Ajira, a young girl who ventures deep into the heart of a musical island gone wrong,โ an official overview reads. โHer journey begins as a simple act of hope, to find a rare fruit that could save her mother. But soon it becomes a battle to restore balance to rhythm itself. Every platform, enemy, and escape sequence moves with the music.โ
Haunt Hunter is an action-horror game in which players take on the role of an investigator named Arjun Miller. โDelve into the depths of the abandoned Anya Manon Hospital, a place with a dark and twisted past,โ an overview reads. โUncover its sinister secrets while fighting for survival against horrifying creatures and solving puzzles. Experience horror, gripping suspense, and a chilling atmosphere.โ
Release dates for Suri and Haunt Hunter have yet to be announced.
