Philips announces the Evenia 27M2G5800 Monitor with dual-mode for up to 5K

Today weโ€™re taking a look at a brand-new PC monitor designed by Philips. Itโ€™s the Evenia 27M2G5800, which boasts high-end features.

First off, this model features a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a dual-mode configuration. You can switch from a resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels at 165 Hz to a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels at 330 Hz. A 5K overclocking range up to 180 Hz is also included. Both modes are compatible with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1.

Other notable features include a brightness of 500 nits, a 1ms GtG response time, a pixel density of 217.57 ppi, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, and compatibility with Adaptive Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC.

In terms of connectivity, Philips has included two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1, a headphone output, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub. Several gaming-specific features such as Smart Crosshair, Smart Sniper, Stark ShadowBoost, and a low-latency mode are included.

Finally, the price and release date have not yet been confirmed by the brand.
