Every major anime has that glorious arc that helps define the story and make the anime famous. For the shonen “big three” member Bleach, that one big arc is the Soul Society Arc. Before it came the fun yet low-stakes and aimless Agent of the Shinigami Arc, and after the Soul Society Arc came the lengthy saga of the Arrancars. The war against Sosuke Aizen may have been pretty cool, but nothing Tite Kubo ever wrote surpassed the Soul Society Arc.
