The live-action Legend of Zelda movie is around 18 months from theaters, but recent leaks from the set in New Zealand may have spurred Nintendo to share a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the film.
Through the Nintendo Today app, Nintendo released the first official pictures of the two primary cast members, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Bo Bragason, in costume as Link and Princess Zelda, respectively.
Ainsworth’s best-known role to date prior to this film was lending his voice to Disney’s live-action remake of Pinocchio. He has also appeared in Netflix’s adaptation of The Sandman, as well as the streamer’s horror show, The Haunting of Bly Manor.
It’s exciting to see the first official set photos for the live-action Zelda movie! Fans have been eagerly anticipating this project, and these visuals definitely build up the excitement. Looking forward to more updates as the release date approaches!
