This is also the case right now, with LEGO releasing a Stranger Things set on January 1, 2026, after the Season 5 finale on December 31, for example, which also features a nice giveaway set attached to it. However, the end of the year can be bittersweet for some fans, as it’s when several past sets are retired, never to be produced again.
