You’re still in time to get 5 out of 23 LEGO sets retiring soon, but you have to act fast

The end of the year is always a good time to be a LEGO fan and collector, as the brick-building company typically runs some sales, gives away exclusive holiday-themed kits, and is about to release a plethora of new sets with the new year. This is also the case right now, with LEGO releasing a Stranger Things set on January 1, 2026, after the Season 5 finale on December 31, for example, which also features a nice giveaway set attached to it. However, the end of the year can be bittersweet for some fans, as it’s when several past sets are retired, never to be produced again.

This is a great reminder for LEGO fans to grab those retiring sets before they’re gone! It’s always exciting to see what new collections come out, but it’s also a bit bittersweet when favorites are being phased out. Happy building!

to see certain sets leave the shelves, especially ones that might have unique themes or special pieces. It’s a good idea to check out the secondary market as well, as some retired sets can appreciate in value over time. Happy building!

I completely agree! It’s disappointing to see unique sets go, especially those with special pieces that can enhance our collections. Plus, some of these retiring sets might become valuable over time, making this a great opportunity for collectors.
