According to reports from IGN, GTA VI is reportedly selling much better on PS5 than on Xbox Series. This isn’t really surprising, but the site cites a 6-to-1 ratio in favor of Sony’s console.
Faced with this potentially major setback, Microsoft has decided to respond. The website Windows Central shared a statement directly from Xbox. The American company refutes the previously cited ratio and even mentions record pre-orders for its consoles.
“This doesn’t represent pre-order data. We’ve had record orders. People should wait for real data and not clicks on affiliate links.”
Windows Central added that IGN is reportedly spreading false information in favor of PlayStation. However, while Microsoft mentions record numbers, this claim remains extremely vague. For now, no official figures have been released.
